Literature Text

One day, a freak was born. His parents were frightened, the doctors were confused and the entire thing felt like a nightmare. But no, it was real. A child had been born with seven eyes. Even very small it was obvious.
His tail was too long, he'd been born with an ear flap hat that had no less than three of his eyes on it and his teeth were sharp. Occasionally a tadpole was born with fangs but all of this kid's teeth were razor sharp like a shark's.
Needless to say, his parents had no idea what to do. They asked if there was a way to get rid of the extra eyes, but the doctors said it wouldn't be a good idea. So they had to accept the extra eyes. His parents knew that nothing would be easy for their son, even if they tried to hide his…unique features.
Gyororo knew he was freak and that there was no way to change it. He kind of liked being able to see things that no one else could. He was able to see behind him thanks to the eye on his tail, so that meant no one could surprise him or sneak up on him. He liked that.
He didn't like being made fun of. He didn't like being called a freak. Everyone at school was always drawing attention to the eyes. They liked to poke them. Gyororo hated the other kids. He was sure they hated him too, so there wasn't really a big problem with it from his point of view.
Gyororo was always tempted to cheat on tests, but he was heckled by the other kids too often to remove the extra hat that hid his eyes. Not to mention his teachers insisted he keep it on during exams. Life just wasn't fair to him.
He'd always hoped that his parents would say something to comfort him. They were his parents, comforting him was their job, wasn't it?
Apparently it wasn't, because the only thing that they said to him on the subject of his eyes was to cover them and act as normal as possible. Normal was a mystery to him. Being normal was impossible.
The thing he hated the most about his eyes wasn't the other kids or his parents. What he hated was that he was lonely. Nobody wanted to be near him. Nobody wanted to be anything more than a brief acquaintance or a classmate. He would never admit that he was, but maybe that made it worse. He convinced himself that he didn't need anybody. He didn't. He wanted somebody.
Do you know how hard it was to find a preview image for this? For some reason, Google doesn't know that there is character named Gyroro in Sgt Keroro and kept thinking that I was searching for Giroro.
But anyway, have a short chapter about poor little Gyroro. We will leave him after this chapter however and return to him later.

All these stories have sad back grounds. It's sad. But I love the chapters! Poor Gyororo.
